Why Hide the Body?
There are easier names for a publishing house. Safer ones, certainly. But I was never interested in making the stories safer.

I really should be more careful about what I leave behind.
Stories leave evidence.
So do writers.
Pages that didn't make the final cut. Notes scribbled in margins. Research that led somewhere it shouldn't have. Photographs without explanations. Confessions disguised as fiction. The occasional detail I probably ought to have changed.
